Baseline Onsite manages remote medical workflows and clinical reporting with Tiikr
RESULTS

- Automated audit trail for CoB
- Improved service delivery
- Real-time emergency workflows
- Offline support for remote sites
Situation
Baseline Onsite provides medical and emergency services to remote mining, oil and gas sites across Australia. Its remote medical workflows connect onsite medics with offsite clinical resources. However, teams relied on telephone, radio, fax and paper to coordinate care. These methods risked delays in response, assessment and clinical decision-making. The challenge was greater because medical emergencies required support around the clock. Teams also needed clear accountability across long distances. Baseline therefore needed a digital system to improve communications, approvals and documentation. It had to support timely care while helping teams meet regulatory requirements. COVID-19 protocols added further complexity across mine sites, making consistent processes even more important.

Impact
Tiikr digitised Baseline’s remote medical workflows and helped reduce response times. Field medics and clinical reviewers could coordinate activities and emergency approvals in real time. Meanwhile, digital records and audit trails improved oversight of incidents, treatments and medical consents. Form automation also supported documentation across multiple sites. In addition, offline support helped teams work in locations with limited connectivity.
Return on Investment
Baseline reported up to an 80% reduction in SLA compliance time. Reporting became fully automated and auditable, while service quality also improved. Staff could manage forms independently, and offline support helped them keep working without a connection. As a result, teams faced fewer delays and manual errors. Together, these changes supported more efficient medical service delivery across remote sites.
